We’re Active Adventures, a kiwi company with over 20 years under our belt. We take ordinary folks on extraordinary adventures in our favourite parts of the world. Sounds like ‘just another tour company’? We’re a little different from your average tour operator. We’re clever and innovative at every level of our organisation. This means we don’t simply take people into the wilderness on a hiking holiday – we blow them away on the trip of a lifetime they’ll never, ever forget.

That’s where you come in:

We’re looking for a smart and creative digital marketer to join our team and our journey. We’re growing and looking to take our company to the next level and to different parts of the globe, so we need the BEST!

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• are a team player. No primadonnas here, thanks
• have a curious and analytical mind, the whiteboard is your friend
• find satisfaction in ‘owning your area of expertise’
• get goosebumps of excitement when you hear the words ‘data analysis’
• are often overheard quoting ‘the devil is in the detail’
• relish being in a digital marketing world where the rules of engagement change daily

The other stuff that’s just as important:

• You’ve got proven experience managing and optimising campaigns on a range of platforms
• When you hear the words Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird you’re instantly thinking SEO (and yes, we’ll ask you about more recent updates when we see you in person)
• You have a track record of ‘on the tools’ campaign management mixed with strategy, planning and reporting
• You can navigate around day-to-day tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio and a CMS with a blindfold on
• You’re a champion when it comes to database segmentation and delivering meaningful insights
• You’re legally entitled to work in New Zealand
