Escape Rentals general manager Brendon Pope has died after a battle with cancer.

Pope worked in tourism for nearly 30 years and was a former general manager of Kiwi Experience and international sales manager at Tourism Holdings.
The 54-year-old father and husband died peacefully on Monday 19 July in Auckland surrounded by family.
A service to celebrate Pope’s life is being held at the Tasman Room, Alexandra Park, Epsom, at 11am on Friday 23 July.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation could be made to support the hospices Pope received treatment at via the Givealittle page https://givealittle.co.nz/fundraiser/i-outlived-brendon-pope.
