How is Rotorua competing for events on the world stage, what sectors of the domestic market is it targeting and what effect will NZ’s new convention centres have on the destination’s share of the MICE market? The Ticker’s Bridget O’Connell was taken on a tour of the city’s conference offerings. 

Infrastructure New Zealand has announced that the location for the 2019 Building Regions Symposium will be Rotorua with the Energy Events Centre hosting the conference in August 2019.
