Tourism Holdings Limited has appointed Jennifer Bunbury to be its new chief financial officer.
Bunbury is the current director of investment banking at Deutsche Craigs at Auckland. She has previously worked in investment roles for Scales Corporation, BHP Billiton and HSBC.
Bunbury takes on the role vacated by Mark Davis who left on 15 October. Davis’ absence due to sickness led to a delay in the release of Tourism Holdings’ annual results this year.
A former dux of Auckland’s St Cuthbert College, Bunbury received a 1st class honours degree in finance from the University of Canterbury.
Tourism Holdings also said it had promoted group financial controller Steven Hall to be its general manager of finance. His responsibilities had been expanded “to include the broader financial accountability for the New Zealand and Australian operating businesses”.
“Jen will work closely with Steven on the core financial responsibilities of the business, whilst adding significant capability to the business from an M&A, investor relations and strategy perspective,” said Tourism Holdings.
Bunbury will take up the CFO role on 14 January 2019.
