Grand Pacific Tours (GPT) is a New Zealand Coach Holiday specialist.
Established in 1996, GPT is celebrating 30 years of touring New Zealand and is owned by Journey Beyond.
The South Island Operations Manager is a contracted position based in Christchurch.
This contractor will have a key focus on the touring season between 01 September and 31 May each year.
An identical contract position exists in the North Island.
A crucial responsibility of this contracted role is the management, concern, safety, and well-being of all GPT travellers while they are in the South Island.
During the touring season, this contractor will be the primary contact for all South Island hotels, attractions, transfers, and optional tour operators.
Daily assistance will be provided to the Coach Captains, Tour Leaders, and Local Hosts, who play an essential role in the success of each tour.
This role is supported by a dedicated team of professional and loyal GPT employees based in the Melbourne Head Office.
The applicant must operate as an independent contractor; be able to make decisions under pressure; possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; have a Quality Assurance mindset; and be genuinely motivated to ensure GPT travellers experience the holiday of a lifetime in New Zealand.
