3rd March 2026 KWS / ZoosFive lions at Northland’s former Kamo Wildlife Sanctuary have been saved after a consortium of investors purchased the 32.5-hectare property.
5th November 2025 KWS / ZoosKamo Wildlife Sanctuary is putting down its remaining seven lions following the closure of the Northland attraction last week.
19th August 2025 KWS / ZoosKamo Wildlife Sanctuary’s property and buildings are on the market and it is not known whether the Northland attraction will continue to house big cats.
