Grand Chancellor Hotels expands NZ, Australia HQ

As Hospitality and Tourism continues to be a vital industry in Australasia, Grand Chancellor Hotels responds by growing their Australia and New Zealand Corporate Head Office team.
Operating from Wellington, the Finance, Marketing and Loyalty team provides strategic direction for the ten Hotel Grand Chancellor properties, fronted by Group General Manager, Frank Delli Cicchi. Within the past month, an Internal Auditor, Senior Marketing & Communications Executive and Loyalty Co-ordinator have joined the corporate team, assisting with brand growth and financial management.
Rachel Bagley – Loyalty Co-ordinator

Rachel commenced as Loyalty Co-ordinator in September, having recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Management) at Canterbury University.
Like many students, Rachel held part-time roles in hospitality whilst studying, and was drawn to the customer-centric aspect of the hotel industry.
Rachel’s key role is to correspond with members of GC Rewards and The Chancellor Club (guest and booker loyalty clubs), with both clubs receiving exponential growth under the guidance of Loyalty Manager, Jeremy Linton.
Jessica Taylor – Senior Marketing & Communications Executive

Beginning her career with Grand Chancellor Hotels as Marketing & Loyalty Assistant in 2014, Jess has spent the past 18 months at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor.
She has now combined her experience to focus on Group Marketing & Communications.
Jess is looking forward to strengthening awareness for the brand, working closely with the Director of Marketing & e-Commerce, Hazel Rigler.
Michelle Fajardo – Internal Auditor

Michelle Fajardo


As internal auditor for the Group, Michelle reports directly to the company Chairman based in Singapore.
Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge from the past 12 years as an auditor, including multi-national company experience, and views the role as a fresh challenge.
Michelle is a member of IIANZ (Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand), CAANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand) and is working towards full recognition for CPA – Australia.
